STEPS TO BECOME A FLORIDA LICENSED
CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT
We've made it simple. Our CNA by examination route prepares potential CNA testing candidates for the Florida Nurse Aide exam and collaborates with Prometric and the Florida Department of Health to ensure candidates test as quickly as possible.

If at least 18 years old:
High school diploma is not required.
GED is not required.
If under 18 years old, high school diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to pass level 2 background.
Experience is not required.
Complete four days of
instructor-led Certified Nursing Assistant preparation for the written and clinical examination in the clinical classroom.
Utilize unlimited practice time for clinical skills* during steps two and three.
