Registration Fee: $50 (Includes uniform, textbook, and supplies)

Tuition Fee: $399 (Includes in-service training and certifications)

Program Objective: Upon completion of this program, graduates will possess the skills and knowledge to become employed as a Home Health Aide helping the elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons live in their own homes and qualify to work at Medicare approved agencies.  

Program Description:  The Home Health Aide Diploma program includes instructor-led classroom and clinical training and practical hands-on application. The program includes basic home health aide skills and meets Medicare standards. The program includes all in-service training requirements, as well as American Heart Association Basic Life Saver (BLS) Cardio pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).  Students must successfully complete assessments and a final exam. There are no licensing exams in order to work as a Home Health Aide.    


The Home Health Aide Diploma includes the following in-service certifications:

American Heart Association Basic Lifesaver (BLS) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR);

Alzheimer’s Disease;


Infection Control;

Domestic Violence;

Assisting with Self-Administered Medication;

Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation 

The Home Health Aide Diploma program is offered by Career Training Institute, a trade name for CNA Training & Testing Center Diploma programs, and is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education #6049.
