Our 3 week Phlebotomy Technician program prepares participants for National Medical Career Assessment Certification (MedCA) for Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).  It is designed to meet the national certification curriculum requirements and includes theory and hands-on instruction, including venipuncture and collection of blood specimens.  The National Medical Career Assessment Certification exam is offered on-site.

  • Blood Cells and Vessels

  • Methods of Specimen Collection

  • Specimen Collection and Transport

  • Special Phlebotomy Procedures

Must be at least 18 years old.  No pre-requisites or experience required.  

Job Outlook

Employment of Phlebotomist is projected to grow 25 percent by 2026, much faster than average.  Hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, blood donor centers, and other locations will need Phlebotomy Technicians to perform blood work.
